Knowing how long it usually takes for new drugs to be developed we guessed it would be five years before we got any kind of anti-Covid-19 vaccine.įortunately, we were quite wrong, almost as wrong as that fellow whatshisname – ah yes, Trump, who thought he was president for far longer than most of us did.Īnyway, he believed a lot of dopey things about the Covid-19 virus and how to run a country.Īnti-vaxers are still around making odd excuses for not getting a jab as they are entitled to, as long as they don’t want a job and to come inside and contaminate the place. I was reminiscing with a friend last weekend about how we had believed some things and dismissed others as quite unlikely. I was first in line when vaccinations became available.įeeble older persons were given due respect and priority. What I don’t have is any sort of Covid-19 virus. I have what I like to believe is a small but impressive scar on my face that I pretend is from a bullet wound but isn’t. I’m there while I wait out an ‘all clear’ from the excellent doctors who variously saved my life and my sight and other bits. She is a formidable foe, fortunately on my side of the widening rift between dwellers in a formerly quiet inner suburb of Sydney. In those days she looked like a truck driver in pink frills these days more like a truck driver in elegant black outfits on the rare occasions she has to appear on video calls.ĭoesn’t wear shoes though. She earned the name because of her boisterous temperament since she was a mere babe. Their relationship is most prominent in the Fall Out Boy music video "The Carpal Tunnel of Love", and hinted at in the internet episode I Nub You.Serious conflict has erupted at my happy temporary home in Sydney with my younger daughter, Cuddles the Thug. Cuddles and Giggles are also very close friends, and it has been hinted several times they are romantically involved. He is particularly good friends with Toothy, Flippy, Petunia, Flaky, and Lumpy. He was seen to have multiple houses, but his official one is considered to be a hollow tree, as it is the only one to appear more than once (In a Jam and Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow). As revealed in Sweet Ride, he is referred to as a skaterboy. On the other hand, he is usually lovable, friendly, sweet and caring, making his personality more complex than the others. Both of these characteristics have led to the death of both himself and other characters. On one hand, he can be dangerously mischievous and fairly self-centered. He also has a Master’s degree in karate, though he has never used it in the show at all.Ĭuddles' character is somewhat mixed. Cuddles was the second character to be created in Happy Tree Friends (the first being Shifty).Ĭuddles can come back to life in another episode every time he dies from that said episode. Like Giggles, Toothy and Lumpy, he appears in many of the advertisements. Cuddles is one of the primary characters in the series. For example, when he's happy/energized they'll stay up, and when he's upset/sad they'll drop down. His ears sometimes move to match how he feels. His white curly hair tuft and cotton tail look exactly the same. Cuddles is a yellow rabbit with pink cheeks who inexplicably wears Pink Bunny Slippers.
